weight of interceptor pill for small dogs

I acquired a box of interceptor made for small dogs under 10 lbs, to treat my minor red bug problem. Just wondering if anybody knows the overall weight of the small dog interceptor pill. It is the smallest pill it comes in. Thanks

I dont think you can use those, you need to use the large dog ones, they are white.

That's correct... the instructions I followed stated that only the large dog pills have the 25mg of the active ingredient needed for calculating the dosing amounts. The smaller pills have a different weight of actual ingredient and therefore it will throw off all of the calculations which could be a serious problem.

you could look up how mcuh of the active ingredient is in the small ones, and figure it out.

The interceptor pills are not that heavy. I'm sure an adult in average health should be able to pick up a whole pack of pills over their head with no problem. Even with one hand!

Its the active ingredient in your pill is what you want to know. If there is a diff between the small dog pill and large then just do the math. It would be much better than throwing your back out lifting those big pills.

check the manufacturers website and make sure it is the same chemical in both packs and like already stated do the math.
for the record the large pills I have of the true brand name are not white at all they are a brownish tan color. probably the beef flavoring giving it the color.

Green 5.75 mg
Yellow 11.5 mg
White 23.0 mg
these are numbers off the interceptor website. it appears they are the same chemical with smaller dosages.
I also thought it was 23mg instead of 25 but didn't want to say if I was wrong.
jovreefer sorry I thought you meant the pill not the package. the packaging is mostly white as you stated.
