Weight on 50 gal salt mix

I'm a little confuse about something. I saw at marinedepot.com that they have 50 gallon salt mix and 3 cases of it for about $50

I haven;t bought salt in a very long time since I have 3 50 lbs. now they I need to order again.

do they mean 1 water change per bag? I have a 46g so that can't be right

hopefully somebody can clear this out for me

Where are you getting that from? Marine Depot website? Maybe you should link us there so we can actually see what your talking about.

The only cases I saw on MD were only about $30 (shipping not included)

That will make 150 gallons of SW.

If you change 20 % of your water, that would be 11.5 gallons so each bag will do about four 20 % water changes.

You would never want to do a 100 % water change. The most I'd do is 25 % unless it's an emergency.
