Hi there, I have a mixed reef tank, with a deep sand/mud sand bed. I have an led light that comes on opposite my dt. I have a ball of cheato that grows there with a lot of live rock rubble. I also have a pin cushin urchin and a emerald greens crab that also lives there. I put them in there as I was getting a lot of pink cotton candy algae in there. However, here's my question. The last few days I've notice a film on the water in the sump only, and when I take my hand to remove it, it looks and feels like snot. Clear and slimy! Any idea what this is? My water parameters are great, Ca-450, alk- 9, mg- 1350, no3 - .2<0. Not sure about phosphate.
