Science and Honor!
So iv had my tank running since like the end of august I'm not sure If it's because it might be cycling a bit still since I dried out the once liverock but on my Marco rocks and other rocks I have a weird black spongy algae showing up I have green hair algae too but I think because of all the die off from drying out the rocks

Well here's some crappy pics of it one some rocks even on the glass

Maybe a form of Cyanobacteria? I would try to remove as much of it as I could and check that phosphates and nitrates are low to unreadable.

I also agree that you could still be cycling, especially if the tank has only been up since August. I noticed some SPS frags in the pictures which could be risky for them if the tank is not fully cycled and established.

Posting your tank parameters may help.

thats what i think it is too when i shut off the lights last night it was a shade of red and dark dark purplish looks almost black, but i dont see why flow can be an issue im running an mp10 on reefcrest mode right where the algae is showing up the most. but im gonna test my parameters today and hopefully add a clamp on light with some chaeto to my fuge
