okee dokee... We have a sea urchin (trripneustes gratilla) that has a wound on its side that is covered with small scud sized shrimp like critters (2mm) that are dark, dark purple all over the wound and seem to be expanding the wound inself. Has anyone heard of a sea urchin parasite? They look a lot like scuds, but they are very dark and have a white stripe down their back. Any Info would be very helpful. I don't think I can get a good pic though. sorry.
