weird clown behavior

I'm currently tankless but as I was reading some threads here I was reminded about how my young occelarus clowns acted weird. I was in the process of building my coral population, at the time all mushrooms and zoas and xenia, I bought a smaller torch coral and in a few days my clowns took to it. It may have been both clowns but for sure at least one of them made a habit of sucking on one of the torch's tentacles. Anyone ever hear of this?Is it normal? Just curious. Thanks.

yeah thats normal clown behavior, your clown is trying to host your torch coral, they can host many things, torch, hammer, mushrooms, leathers, even heard once a hermit crab, its instinct for them to host anemones and one is not present they will host what they can.
