Weird Cup on Tunze 9410!!?>?

Im trying to setup my 9410 skimmer,

is it possible that I recieved a collection cup that is too small?

It is imposible to placee it vertical and balance on those 3 small groves.

It just doest fit properly , it just falls off into the skimmer, and stays slanted.


Please help

The cup does not sit on the tabs, it pushes into them, they are tight and that is intentional, they brace the side of the skimmer cup tube so it doesn't rattle against the skimmer body. Center it between the tabs and push down, the bottom of the cup should be flush with the top of the skimmer main body.
