alk 8dkh
calc 450
mag 1350
temp 78
nitrate .5-0
phos .0-.05

i run gfo and rox carbon replace it every two weeks.

I recently lost all my sps and several lps within a matter of a week with a 4 year old mixed reef. Only thing I could chalk it up to was the dsb died off. Everything I could test for tested within correct params. It sucks not knowing or being able to find out what exactly went wrong :-( Hope you find out the culpret!

All of those parameters seem to be in line. What about testing for everything else to ensure you're not leaching anything into the water? copper, silicate etc. Do you have any electricity running into the system? Do water parameters vary sharply during photo periods? So many things you could have going wrong, and posting one result of a test kit and one particular point in time is not going to provide an answer to the problem.

i thought about rusty components so i went in and look at all screws only found two so took them out. and ive tested copper and did'nt pick up anything. i need to check stare current

at first i thought it was aefw but ive dipped it and i hav't seen any eggs

you only found two??! Two rusty screws seems like plenty reason in a small closed system for a die off... I would test for every toxin you can think of. All problems within the aquarium are generally man-made.

it changing from t5 to led and i also change from one brand of two part to brs could any of this have anything to do with it?

i prob should check my bucket of salt to

LEDs are much brighter than T5's depending on height, yeah...could be overdosing their light. I doubt that as long as the results are the same, the different brands of 2 part would have a very negative impact.

all of your polyps of every coral would be closed during the day and then open at night. if they remain closed at night, then its a water quality issue.

I dont think its a lighting issue then...I think it was those rusty screws. But if i were you I would buy every test kit known to man and test for every Molecule I could...just so I would know.

lol... i had alk probs awhile back could it just be after math of that(i forgot about it untell i looked back in my test log)
