Weird RTN event.

Is the area with flesh still on the coral? From the pic it looked as if the spots were just areas that the flesh had not fallen off. If the coral still has areas that have flesh and polyps and it lasts for a while like that, maybe it will make it. but most times it does not.

SeanT, maybe I missed it, but did you recently change your current pattern or lighting change-out? I assume you've r/o Ca++/alk abnormalities & excessive temp. swings,Bob

i just had a pocilipora go nuts and almost all the tissue came off and all the polyps are gone. I dont know what happened. Nothing else in my tank was effected either. My other really small frag of it wasnt affected though. My other corals are: orange ricordia yuma, orange montipora digitata, brown montipora digitata, orange montipora capricornus, purple montipora capricornus, pink acropora millepora, green seamat.

IÃ"šÃ‚´m having some problem with RTN last time I resolve it with Iron and Lugol additions .

Anybody Knows some article about RTN treatments??

Thanks!
