Weird spots on mantel?

Does anyone know what these spots are??They dont seeem to bother the clam.

if ur talking about the gold-brown spots,it looks like it just the color of the clam

No, they weren't there a month ago ,so I dont so.Thery almost look like corraline algae from the top anyone??

My question would be... do they appear to be a growth on the mantle or bleaching?

what lighting r u running? how long have u had it? and what lighting did it come from?... those spots look ok to me. i have a blue Maxima with a gold band thru the middle

My lighting is 240 watts of pc in a 30gal.It was under vho's at the store,and I've had it for a little over a year.It looks more of a bleaching then a growth.Should I not worry.

That doesn't look right, I've seen a nice blue clam at an LFS for a while now and it was very healthy, but recently the store haven't been keeping good care of the clam and I started to see those spots apeared ... maybe someone here have seen these spots before can chime in

i guess u cant get a topdown pic? i think its just the color of the clam. but i dont have a close up view. the only think that i can say is a Maxima on the sand bed under PC lighting,ur clam might not be getting enough light.
