I got a yellow coris wrasse about 3 weeks ago. And until now I had him in my new 72 galon. But then all of a suddeen my 6-line didnt like him any more and started killing him. He would come out in the morning, the 6-line would chase him arround a bit, and he would go into hiding until the next morning. so pretty much he has a 15 minute day. well i got sick of this and decided I had had enough, he was going to be killed if I didnt do anything. So this morning I put saltwater form my 72, sand from my 72, and rock from my 72, and a powerhead in a little 2 gallon explorer tank. It had the bio-wheel filter up top but I tok out the bio-wheel. I aclimated him, and put him in there and for thwe first time in about 2 weeks I saw him do somethin besides hide, or sit in the corner. He is swimming arround, and picking pods off the rocks and he looks like he is doing reakky well. :) :) :) :)

Currently the tank if FOWLR. I would really like to get some corals but am not able to afford the lights on my big tank. I think it would be cool if I got some zoos of something in theis tank, dose anybody know where I can get a lightr for this tank that will be good enough for zoos, xenia, shrooms, ect. Preferably under $30.

thanx.

get the coralife screw in bulbs from drsfostersmith or even the screw in powercompact bulbs from walmart.....a coule of these in that would give you plenty for shrooms and zoos andthe like

I'm using a 19w PC bulb that screws in a similiar 2gl tank hood, awesome lighting about 9w per gl!

Thanx a lot guys. :)

Agu, how long is that bulb? I have a fixture that would work but I would like to know how long it is?

OK. that is probably what I will get then, however, if I get a new light, i will have to take off the eclipse filter on the top of the tank, leaving nothing for circulation besides the powerhead. Will this be enough foe coral, and will it provide enough o2.

The 10w is a little over 5" including the base. As I recall the 20w is around 9".

Have you considered using the light in the above link and adding this HOB filter? This nano filter and your PH should work well together and you can order the filter at the same time you order the lights.

Just a thought,

Mike
