Well I was finally hit with the unfortunate glass heater problem.

Sorry to hear about your losses.

How did the heater fail? Did it shatter, or did it merely stop heating? What brand was the heater?

I've used Jäger heaters for years now without problems, but I keep them on a controller. You never know for sure I suppose.
