Hello,
I have 3 nice specimens of N. Wennerae that came with my TBS live rock and that are now living an happy life in a 12g aquapod. I have started to add some stuff to the tank like anemones, corals and such. I recently bought a sun coral also. So, all this just to say that I have to feed raw shrimp a lot and small frozen food for the sun coral.
As my hermits are not lasting long...I would like to find a good scavenger that would be rather safe from the Wennerae. I tought about a serpent star? Anybody tried that before?
Just FYI, I have a tuxedo urchin, a conch, a gigantic mexican turbo snail and a chiton that take care of anything that looks like an algae in there and they are all doing fine. I had them for a few months now without any aggression. I keep my mantises very well fed.
Thanks for the feedback!
