Went coral shopping online.

I have recently been inspired by a lot of tanks here on RC and wanted to get a few more "desirable" corals that I just can't seem to find at my LFS. I really like the acan's and wanted to increase my limited collection. I found a handful online tonight and pulled the trigger. Very excited for them to arrive and I just bought them :)

Nice acan's. I have yet to find any, it's unusual...most of them come from Aussie, but right next door in NZ they're never ever seen, such a shame.

Austin Aqua Farms has great stuff, very high quality, and they are very nice guys there. The acans will do well for you. We are fortunate to get to shop there as locals!

Thanks. That is a shame, our market here in the US is great if your willing to look, wait and pay.

Great to hear. I have never purchased from them, but bought them all on eBay from their store there. They had a great reputation on the site, so I decided to take a chance.

Those look great, I have some of them. Told you you would find good stuff in their eBay auctions! They will puff up and look great in moderate lighting and flow.

I put one at the top of my tank and it bleached out. Moved it to the bottom with the others and it's regaining color slowly, I don't know if it will fully recover though. If you run halides, keep them mid-low

I run LED's now and have 4 acan colonies on the sand in the tank currently. I have always been nervous about moving them up higher.

Live in Austin , TX and have been to Austin Aqua Farms many times. Matt and those guys run a quality shop. Their product is healthy and they wont sell you anything that is not 100% ready to go. I have lots of product from them. You won't find anything better anywhere else. And there auctions are a hoot, bet I was bidding you up on some of those items you were showing. LOL

I actually was wondering if I would see any posts from people stating they tried to win any of the items. There was one piece that I really wish I would have up'ed my max bid and it got away... Maybe you took it!

I got mine from Reef Pets on eBay... I was happy with the prices, packaging, and animal quality.

Austin Aqua Farms does have a lot of gorgeous acans. They are truly drool-worthy!

I ordered some acans from Austin aqua farms website 7:30 am Monday morning and haven't heard a word from them.

Have you heard anything on an eta for your order?

When I track the order on the website it just says it's in "processing".

I was thinking maybe they are waiting for credit card transactions to clear?
