My cuz thought we should've tried to call HBPD and hoped that they got there before he left the store (Kevin made a police report and I had pics of him from RC), but I wasn't 100% sure that he was the guy and didn't want to falsely accuse an innocent person. I found out about the clam and acans stuff after he left.

I was at seaside today too. Didn't see him though. I would have sat his arse down and wait for the cops. Kevin at OCA said he saw the kid come back in the other day ANC saw a pic of himself hanging and took off out the door

I'm not familiar with the law but I'm not sure you can detain someone against their will. I think the best you can do is call the cops and hope they come before the crook leaves. I could be wrong. Anyone know for sure? It's good to know just in case I run into him again, I'll know what I can do legally to hold him.

I'm pretty sure you can hold him and say it's a citizens arrest and not get in trouble as long as you show evidence...dont take my word on it thought

you're probably gonna have to check with the local authorities... but for srs... i think it might work... you could always hold him and say that he hurt you or threatened you... add some wood to the fire...


nah i'm just kidding... don't do any of that, but do check with the local PD and see where your rights and privileges begin and end...
