Please link some of your favorites. Need help deciding. Preferably I want a open top, other then that im open to suggestions. Thanks guys!

Really thinking about getting the IM 16 gallon AIO. Looks nice and good price of just under 300. I also really like pico aquariums, his build quality is great but seems hes not building them atm? I dont know.

I saw that one as well. I have a 30 gallon tank with a 20L sump. I like my tank but I just want a smaller tank with no sump and to get it off my desk. haha

PicO Aquariums, who apparently are changing their name to HQ aquariums which is odd given their name recognition. Any way, best quality AIO rimless nanos around. I've heard Chris will open shop again in a few weeks.

Makes me wonder if there was some type of legal hassle over the company name. Anyhoo, I have an IM 16g Nuvo in white. I really like it. Much more stylish than nanocubes, biocubes, etc.

I think PicoAquariums (now HQAquariums) should be on top of your list. Chris is going to start accepting orders starting next week. I am seriously contemplating placing an order for a custom AIO.
Personally I hate the curved glass on all the commercially available AIO's..

Yeah, He is in Peoria and I am a hour away so i am gonna pick up my tank. I wanna get an AIO and put my 1 clam in it and nothing else, strictly a clam tank
I want a manta ray 18

Tanks from Chris can run anywhere between $250 - $500 for the premade ones I think, not including shipping, when I was initially speaking to him about a custom AIO, he was upfront about shipping costs. He was only charging me for the exact shipping.

Just emailed chris at pico aquariums and he is taking orders.

Email from chris. My question was if he still made manta rays and deep blue tanks etc.

"Yes and no. I may be selling off PicO so I can't reproduce the PicO filtration in the meantime.
I can build a similar size but I have to leave a few of the filtration parts off."

What he also said about how he cant add these features to a AIO tan. "Yea just no adjustable water height, turf algae plate or overflow notch.
Other then that I can reproduce the PicO unit sizes and layout."

So is it still worth buying one from him?

It depends on how important those features are to you. I personally love the adjustable water height feature. Turf algae plate : I really dont use. I am not sure what he means by overflow notch though. I would still pay for an AIO from him.

Just read he is back from the NR forum as well. Interesting about not doing the Pico AIO again, sounds like he sold the design rights. A bit of a bummer, still wouldn't hesitate to jump all over it. Truth be told I don't use either of those two features or even the media trays. Get the starfire glass, you will kick yourself later if you don't. I love my Manta 18!
