what algae is this

ok so my power heads and the glass in my tank are getting a lot of brown film on them it comes off fairly easy im preaty sure it is not hair algae but im not sure what is causing it and its not all over the tank just in certain areas any ideas

it is a little slimy when you touch it it doesent seem to be bothering anything all livestock is doing good

yes it doeas what is the main cause of it and how do you get rid of it

You can just knock it off your glass with a magnet cleaner (comes off pretty easily) and your hermits and snails will enjoy a meal.

they come and go in a newly set up tank ... I had a bloom about 2 weeks ago.
