What am I? Mystery ID

I've had my tank up for a few months and enjoy finding new creatures and figuring out what they are--even though sometimes they are things i would prefer not to have in my reef. Recently i just found something that i can't ID. I found it stuck to the glass and moving very, very slow. It looks to me like somebody cut the leg off a starfish, but i haven't seen any starfish in the tank besides micro brittlestars, and i know it's not a brittlestar leg.

Does anybody know what this is?

Asternia starfish, it's just divided. Give it some more time and more legs will grow Usually harmless, unless you're algae

Thanks. I did notice in my searching that it was spelled differently.
The nice thing is that the search engines corectt fore speeling now. So those of us who dont awlays get are wurds rite can still look things up. it still turned up in the search engines.
Now if RC could do that for posts, we'd all look a lot smarter.
