any (BTA) 'buble tip anemone' will do. they come in a variety of colors. require a tank that has been set-up for at least 5-6 months. resonable lighting, med-low flow. REEF-ON!!!
Whyyyyyy I autaaaaaaaaaaaa.... BTA of course <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v346/karenssaltwater/dance005.gif" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a>
E. quadricolor or (if you have a deep sand bed) M. doreensis
My clarkii loved their LTA (M. doreensis) and now they switch back and forth between their LTA and the BTAs that have been added to the tank.
BTA is more likely to climb around the rockwork on occasion while the LTA will set his foot through the sand bed and attach to the glass or the base of a rock. If you have a lot of SPS mounted on rocks then an LTA might be a little safer.
However; your lighting might be a little low for the LTA, probably OK but since they like the bottom of the tank you might need to upgrade to T5 or Mh.
<a href=showthread.php?s=&postid=7722609#post7722609 target=_blank>Originally posted</a> by Ironman I had to sell my BTA because it was all over my tank and stinging my sps. I heard that BTAs are known to wander. My .02 cents worth.
My RBTA wandered for about four days or so until he found a place he liked. He hasn't moved since.
You've just got to watch where your BTA is wandering around towards and move stuff out of its way, and then pray that he doesn't wander in the opposite direction during the night.
I've read a lot of people complaining about their BTA's wandering the tank, but it seems to happen when the BTA's are unhappy with their surroundings.
I've just the other day gotten a LTA foisted off on me (long story) and he immediately planted his foot in the sand next to some large rocks and has stayed put and is already eating. I'm hoping his looks improve, as he's just a little starved, but not too badly damaged.
