What are 6200.509 elastic pads for?

I purchased TS24 Kit 2 x 6100 + 7095 from another aquarist. Included are 2 x 6200.50 magnets (I have 3/4" acrylic).

I intend to use both magnets for my wavebox and have 2 deco rocks for the 6100/s.

I noticed there are elastic pads PN 6200.509 on the Tunze parts list. Are these required when mounting a Wavebox with 6200.50 magnets and if so where do they stick on to?

They are adhesive clear plastic bumpers to help dampen vibration and limit slippage. If you look at the magnet mounts you will see the shallow round depressions where they attach. It is a 3M product and can be obtained at most hardware stores.

also IMHO they will help to keep from scratching that 'crilic tank and they make it a tiny bit easyer to get at the magnet to release it from the other one ever thru glass... gives a tiny gap between the tank and the magnet.
