What are good fish that pair?

I' m thinking of adding 2 more fish into my tank and want fish that pair. It would be a plus if they are attractive but not really required. I already have a clownfish pair and a bar goby pair. Any suggestions would help me a lot.

Hmm dragonface pipefish... mandarins pair up as well. Both require attentive care. anthias form harems, chromis as well

I recently purchased a Poters Angel and it paired up with my yellow eye Cole tang, they never leave eachnothers side. And the Poter is a nice looking fish.

Is it possible for my candy hogfish to pair? Also how abot male/female pistol and male/female shrimp goby making 4 animals in a burrow.

Only when it gets close to closing time.

Are you taking about your 75 gal? If so, some suggestions aren't really practical, IMO. Candy hogfish are great little wrasse, If any hogfish would pair up, this is the one I'd try. I've never seen it done, but may try it with mine. IMO, all hogfish are very under-rated, we just don't hear much about them. Although the candy is smaller and less aggressive than most, it sure adds a flash of color. Cool fish.

Pair of small angels might work, like from the argi complex.

Let me know if you try to pair the hog. I too have one, would love to pair it.

Blennies and gobies. They will pair with themselves and other species. They do very cute things when they pair. I had a small yellow watchman goby pair with a huge Randalls goby and the little yellow one will sometimes sit ON the Randalls' head!

@Monkeyfish- the filefish sounds like a really good idea and i have always benn interested in them. Aren't they coral eaters of some sort or am I wrong?

@MrTuskFish- yes they are supposed to be the least aggressive but mine seems to be the exception. I recently got a goby/pistol pair and now only have the pistol. The hogfish has decapitated the ywg and oddly buried the body. This i saw with my own eyes and he currently bullies my zebra dartfisf pair relentlessly.

@SDguy- i could try another wrasse to pair with my current one but i would have to keep a very close eye on them. I fear that the same thing may happen to the new candy hogfish that happened to the yellow watchmang goby.

@blennielove- funny you mention odd pair my hogfish is currently involved in a semi pair with my foxface but strays to go look for my dartfish to pick on. Could you reccomend some gobies that would pair with each other.

Yeah, least agressive hogfish and not aggressive at all are two different things. Mine is with fish about his size or bigger. Like most hogfish, he'll try to eat anything he thinks he can.

I think maybe because he/she may be maturing. It was 1 inch when i got him last year now its about 3in. Also it has a more decorative pattern on its sides.
