What are inside my tank?

I have my 70G tank cyclying for about 2 weeks with 30 pound cured LR from LFS, and 65 pound uncured LR. I have seen lots of worms, bugs and other live stuffs in the rock, especally when the light is switched from off to on. Most of them disapear immediately with light on. How can tell which one is good and which one is bad? Any website has pictures to tell all these small animals/lifes in the reef? I have no fish in the tank now.

It does produce lots of die-off, but I did not smell nasty at all. It has been 2 weeks. All the live small animals are very active in the cured rocks, and I could not any thing in uncured rock though. However, some of my uncured rock is turning to green.

No problem. You're not too likely to find bad guys in this situation: the real bad guys starve without prey, and there's nothing in there you've bought at a fish store, if y'know what I mean. So what's in there is living off cleaning up the dead stuff, which is what you want inverts to do.

I'll hazard a guess you have bristleworms, maybe peanut worms, spionids, all no problem, a few amphipods, [fishfood], copepods, etc. Your tank doesn't smell because these guys have been hard at work. Go to the New to the Hobby section and look at the 235 items identified sticky at the top of the messages.
