What are some non-jumpers?

I have a 2x2x1 "half-cube" tank that I'm setting up. It's a 30gal with plans for corals. It's very shallow and I don't plan on using a top. It's a clean slate so any and all suggestions are welcome. I'm pretty set on a pair of perculas, so I guess the only other criteria is that they're clown-friendly.

What would you put in this tank?

I know every fish can jump, but what are some types that are less likely to jump? Any websites with a good database for hobby marine fish?

Why not use the clear mesh from bulk reef supply? you wouldn't even hardly see it unless looking from above closely.

I just looked it up, along with some DIY articles and photos. I'm glad you pointed it out! I never thought about that. :)

So much for this thread then! lol

Which is good because ANY fish might jump. Lynn's suggestion is what most of us do.

Yep. I've seen frogfish go carpet-surfing.

I use either PVC or eggcrate to make a frame, and then put mesh netting in the middle. Having that frame make it easy to move around if I need to, and it's sturdy without blocking any light. You can also do that with fishing line, if the mesh is too visually distracting to you.
