What are some Subtropical Fish?

What common/rare fish are more suited to a subtropical aquarium? Such as Bandits angels and Ventralis Anthias.

Would Centropyge potteri be considered subtropical? I understand they require slightly cooler temps and adults reside in deeper water.

They are from Hawaii and from what I understand Hawaii is slightly cooler than the western pacific, but I wouldn't go so far as to call them subtropical.

Also, there are really two kinds of "subtropical" fish. There are fish who live in normal to shallow depths outside the tropics, and there are fish who live in otherwise tropical areas but are from deeper water.

The Catalina goby like cool waters. I'd call it more temperate than subtropical. But if you a making a tank for 70 degree water it would make a nice addition.

Maybe you should define a temperature range. From what I understand, many fish do just fine in lower temps...
