What are these "Flying" critters

I was checking my tank after lights out, as I usually do, when I noticed these small 'flying' critters (see video link). They followed the white light, but not the red. There were blue, red, and white ones. I have seen them once before about 6 months ago, and they are only around for 1 night. They are probably 1/8th of an inch long, or less, and have numerous 'legs' which they use for propulsion.

I am guessing it is the young of something else in the tank, that after hatching, move around in the tank until they find a new home.

The video is a little fuzzy, but I amazed it came out at all. Any info would be greatly appreciated

Fish Food.... I'm not sure what they are. I see them in my tank when the lights are out....... Very nice video!!!! :)

I agree with Tylt33. They look like amphipods, a large category containing over 5,000 species of "water bugs."

Could be amphipods or copepods, but normally these scatter and hide when white light is shined in the tank. These came to the light. Other oddity is that they were only there for 1 night. This was a month a go, and they have not been back since. The usual amphipods and copepods are still there.
