What are these little white specs??

These little white specs are covering the back wall of my tank. THe picture isnt really detailed enough but it gives you an idea of the size. They look like little eggs and they are the size of a grain of sand. Any ideas?

Could be snail eggs, could be spiriorbid worms.

Well, I do have about 60 snails in the tank. Part of my cleaning crew. Astrea, nassarius, turbo's etc...I'm leaning towards the egg quess as my snails are always on the back glass.
What are spiriorbid worms? Are they harmful, beneficial or a nuisance? If so, how would I get rid of them?

my guess would be nassarius snail eggs from what i can see. but theres lots of other things they could be. take a look here: www.melevsreef.com/id see if you can find anything else. they dont have legs/arms, anything sticking out on them do they?
