For Super Bowl

I'll be smoking a 10 Lb. pork shoulder (picnic) 16 hours JERK STYLE!!! REAL JERK!!! Got my pimento wood and all. Plus, about 6 slabs of ribs, hot wings, etc... Will have 3 smokers going. Perfect smoking weather! :D
Will start late Sat. night...Finally got a wireless thermometer so I don't have to go outside to check temps thoughout the nice. I HATE cold.

By the way, if anyone knows where to get a welding blanket at a decent price here in st. louis, please let me know. Or if you know of a place to get a MODERATE priced grill/smoker with a trailer, please let me know

Dang, we just decided to invite people over today and started calling people. I may have to sneak away from my house to get some jerk pork though! :lol: Everyone is invited here as well but I don't have as big of a TV, much less multiple big screens!

What are you talking about multiple big screens! I have 2- 13" and one is B&W :D

I invited some of my uncles friends whom I know and a few that I didn't. Will be strange watching the superbowl without him.
 
POKER Hold'em 10 doller entry at a buddies house. Has a Big Screen and a nice table.

Told me to bring nothin but my giant chip set.:)

but i think im gonna bring a recipe called

Seahorses (kabob style)

16-20 ct shrimp (uncooked)if you use the pre cooked it is too chewy.
1lb honey maple bacon
1 jar sliced Jalap Peppers
toothpick



peel the shrimp and place in fridge to get cold again..
take the bacon and peel 3 strips off (with out seperating them)
you should have about 4 stacks of bacon with 3 pieces in each stack

take a stack and on a flat surface rub it out till it is about a foot in lenght (.. this is 12inches.. and not the size of you foot!!). cut in thirds.. repeat with the rest...

now seperate the bacon in rows, take the shrimp and place a piece on the bacon, add a slice of pepper.. roll bacon over shrimp and pepper. pierce with toothpick making sure you get the shrimp, pepper and both ends of the bacon..

season..

best thing to do is get a bottle of McCormicks Fish and seafood seasoning and just start making it to taste.. with Garlic, Paprika, ect...

O noo not another thread/forum. I have all ready started neglecting my fly tying vice to often....lol

Looks like a good one tho ill hide it in the bookmarks and not go there yet....except that one recipe there...lol
