what camera should I get

so every camera Ive tried, I couldnt take pics of the polyps of the SPS :fun5:


what camera do you guys use ? any advice on what I should look for ? Mpixel wise ? I tried camera wtih 10 Mpixel and still, couldnt get a shot of the polyps :S


also, wht lighting feature do you guys choose when takin pics of a lit reef tank ?

Megapixels are not the measure you're looking for. What you need is a digital SLR and a macro lens with a long focal length (I'd suggest 90mm+).

how much should I expect to spend on a decent camera I can take pics of the SPS with ? any Idea?
