I have the two part epoxy that you knead together, but either I'm not using it right or it sucks! As soon as I put it in the water, it starts breaking up. What do you guys use and what is your method? TIA
I use super glue gel. The best way is to pull a small rock out of the water and do the glueing in the air. It seems to get better adhesion that way. It does still work if you put some on the bottom of the frag and then stick it to a rock under water.
Sounds like it could be a bunk batch of epoxy. You should mix it until its white. I personally like ot use a combination of epoxy and gel. But it depends on the rock and coral.
Second the use of both. If you get some good epoxy and use super glue gel on both sides (the one on the rock and the side to the frag) you get an excellant mount.
