My wife was so excited about her picking out and buying her first clam, she forgot to ask the guy what kind it was, she thought all clams where the same. Does anybody know. This clam is the size of my pinky.
Not sure about cyclopeze for clams. I don't think clams can utilize it as food. For clams that size, many (including me) advocate feeding with phytoplankton. Some place the clam in a small basin with tank water and feed until the water clears. I prefer not to remove the clam from the tank. I think it's stressful for them. I dose the tank with phytoplankton daily. So far this has worked for me.
Cyclopeze is way too big...clams need food no bigger than 10 or 15 microns if remember quickly. He will need to be fed phytoplankton, live would be best. Get a bottle of DTs and he will be happy. A feeding bell would be the best method...
