I have about 3.5 watts per gallon (MH) in my 96 galloon bowfront. i have moderate water flow through my whole tank. tank has been running for 3 years now. water parameters are fine. i have never had a clam before. what do you think i should get?

i have a golden dwarf eel. he is very friendly and doesnt even try to go after my hermits. do you also think that my eel would get hurt by the clam by getting stuck inbetween him or he would just learn not to go near it?

i have 2 175 watt MH lights. would a derasa get to big compaired to a squamosa?
yes, approx. 24" vs. 16" maxed out.

Derasa get big 2nd largest of the giant clams but it will take some time a few years or mor to out grow your tank. I dont think you will have to worry for a while if you get one on the smaller size. 4" or so. Rember higher tempatures of the water the faster they grow.

well i got a squamosa on Pacific east yesterday. it is 4 inches and it is a wysiwyg clam. do you think this was a good choice what i did?

you should be fine with a squamosa clam they do well under less light and in sand beds but they are less forgiving the a darasa clam. Make sure the water specs are good and check them offten.
