What cleaning Magnet

I just wanted to know what cleaning magnet that you would all recommend for my 1inch acrylic tank. I have the choice of Algea Free Great White, a Mag-Float 500a or the Magnavor 8. i want to get the strongest one of the bunch so some input would be great.

Thanks

I have Great white and it is almost to strong. The MAG8 is great also. For the price difference the great white is the better choice imo.

Can't compare to any others since all I've used is the Magnavore 8. I've had it for 5 years now and it still does a great job on my 3/4 inch Acrylic 180G.

My tank is 1" acrylic and I use the Great White. I find it works very well.

I use a cloth diaper sprayed with Brillianize on the outer magnet, and (obviously) an acrylic pad on the inner magnet.

All these large magnets deserve to be handled with great respect!

I came across this thread the other day and as a result, I ordered a Mighty Magnet. My tank has 1" and 1.25" sides.

I have not used it yet but I have to say that Mighty Magnets is a class act!! The magnets came in this morning and they were packaged in a Tupperware style container with die cut foam to hold it in place. There is what appears to be 1/2" marine starboard to seperate the magnets. They sent some extra pads as well as some of the special pads I had ordered. I would only assume by the pride they take in their packaging that these will be the best magnets I have ever used.

I cannot begin to tell you how impressed I am with their quality and service! These were worth every penny that they charge and much nicer and less expensive than the old Tunze magnets that we have been using.

Hats off to Mighty Magnets!
