What clown fish do you suggest?

I have a 3 foot 48 gallon bow front reef tank. Maxspect R420R LEDS / HOB Octopus Skimmer / 50 LBS live rock / up and running 15 years.

I added a green BTA 3 weeks ago now. Doing great. I want to get him a pair of clown fish. Suggestions on type? I had hoped to get a pair of tank raised Ocellaris however I have read that it is not guaranteed they will host. As in they have been known to do it but not a recommended pair.

Suggestions on what is guaranteed to host to a BTA?

I have seen tank raised ocellaris readily accepting BTAs here at local stores.
If you want to up your chances, see if you can find some at a local store that are already in one.

It'll readily host a pair of red tomato clowns and the red tomatoes will love it.

Maroon clowns also love BTAs but can get aggressive. Just a heads up, there's no guarantee that any clown will accept the anemone so I would just go with the clowns you want and hope for the best.

Yeah the tomatoes will take residence in anything. bta, toadstools whatever...they can get super aggressive though
