What coral would you never buy again? Why?!

Pink Yumas

Pink Yumas

I bought a rock with 2 on it for *cough* dollars and after about a week, they started with the brown slime. Luckily my other blue and orange yumas dont seem to be affected but I should have believed all the horror stories of pink yumas melting away in captivity.

Pocillopora, because it'll spawn and be everywhere! :fun5:

Too bad folks trying to restore reefs in certain regions don't use Pocillopora more often if it is that aggressive.

Great thread. It makes me cautious about a few things in my tank. Thankfully, my problem corals are all isolated except for my giant clove polyps. I am afraid that a cluster at the back of my tank will try to take over that portion in years to come.

The 3 in my tank I wish I never put in there are yellow polyps, blue snowflake polyps, and kenya tree.

The only one in my short experience I wouldnt get again are brown "button" zoa. Just not very attractive and spread pretty quick.
