What corals are safe by a clam

I have a clam (maxima I think) and it has attached itself to a large flat piece of dead coral. I was wondering what the best corals would be to put on the rock with it. Obviously I don't want anything that will grow and overshadow it or sting it.

Are Zoanthids and star polyps a safe option? Is there anything else?

I have zoa's near one of my clams and I have an Digitata next to another one. They don't seem to bother the clams that much but you have to watch zoa's and star polyps because they grow fast(at least in my tank) and they try to attach themselves to the clams shell and if not watched will try to cover them. but as long as you keep an eye on them you should not have a problem.
Good luck..... and post up some pics of the clam.....LOL

I really want something that can grow on the actual side of the clam as well. At least the star polyps and zoa's are easy enough to remove.

here is a old pic of mine (please look past the aptasia :rolleye1:

I have a great maxima with neon orange and neon green zoos covering now almost both sides, both flourish, I would just go for a hardy zoo, if anything the clam might kill the zoos not the other way around, actually they look alot like the zoos above with no purple or blue
