Wondering what types of corals I will be able to get and keep under 260watts of PC Lights only at tank depth of 24" , maybe less after the sand, rock ect goes in. And honestly I don't know what SPS and LPS is exactly, so if you can list the name, and if you have photos of some of these things, or ways to identify the types I can get, please let me know! Thanks again!!

Also was thinking I could always get another light strip to go on the front of the tank as well as the strip that will go on the back of the tank, that would make 520watts of PC Lights, but if it won't make that much difference in what I can keep, I probably won't bother, it might look funny that way anyways, lol.
:D

What size tank? You will not be able to keep sps corals with PC's. Sps is acropora, montipora, stylophora, poccilipora, etc. They are hard corals with short polyps. LPS are stony corals with long polyps. Open brains like trachyphyllia , acanthastrea, blastomussa, echinophyllia, euphyllia which are your torches, hammer, frogspawn, etc. are some LPS. Soft corals have no skeleton~ xenia, zoanthids, discosomas, ricordia, kenya tree, leather corals, etc.
depending on what size the tank is, you should be able to keep soft corals, and SOME LPS.

Tank size is a 120, it is 48x24x25. So if I want SPS, what do I need for lighting? I hate to go back to MH again

Ok, what kind of corals can I keep under this light setup ? Remember the tank is 48x24x25, and the 25 is the depth, it is a 120 gallon tank:

48 INCH 760 TOTAL WATTS

(2) 250 Watt HQI Double Ended 10K Bulbs
(4) 65 Watt Power Compact Blue Actinic Bulbs
(12) LED Moonlights
2 Energy Efficient External Ballasts
1 Energy Efficient Internal CF Ballast
Separate Power Cords For Each Device
Separate Switches For Each Device
Large Built-In Cooling Fan
Black Aluminum Non-Corosive Powder Coated Housing
German Reflectors
Mounting Legs
Tempered Glass Splash Guard

I would go with a MH/VHO combo. VHO is true actinic, and they run much cooler than PC's. But with 250 10K's you could keep everything. I would also recommend single ended bulbs, unless this setup has a glass panel. I don't like glass over the tank, it does'nt allow for gas exchange. Is this a pendent style with a glass panel, or canopy style with glass on the tank? Another option is T-5's, which can either be great or really bad, depending on how much you spend.
