What did you get at WMC?

Greetings from CVR! Great event, everyone. We all owe you a huge hand for pulling off such a huge task!
I won a heater and some epoxy in the raffle, but I also brought home two little Maxima clams from Mermaid Aquarium's awesome zero-edge tank.
They're not great shots, and they're not fully open yet, but here's the two little guys, a blue striped and a gold:

I got these, an open brain from John and a nice red/green acan in the raffle. They are in QT for at least 4 weeks before they will be in any of my display tanks.

Is it me?But that open brain looks even nicer in your QT than it did at the conference.Nice and swelled up with a more blue color
Those anenomes were being sold at unheard of prices at the last hour,so tempted to get another but Im glad I saved my pennies, and got a gorgeous purple leptasrea pruinosa:eek2: from mermaidaquariums. Thanks Max for losin your marbles:wildone: made alot of us happy

Brutal but true.
With the shallow tank and corals up on a rack they get plenty light from the PC. They both looked really good under my magnifying glass, just found a couple of varmits on the acan. I check things under the glass about once a week during QT. It really is worth the effort and helps prevent impulse buys. Any new entries to the QT tank would start the clock again.

Oh dont say that! I have a green bubble tip too!hahahah. And yours looks extremely healthy right now. Prepare yourself for the long battle of making that bugger happy! My first bubble was a rose and it bleached out for almost 2 years before it got healthy again. And now, its even more colorfull and gorgeous than when I bought it. Just a super bright rich flourescent green base with shocking pink tipped red tenticles. Just bought my latest green tip(like yours) about a week or 2 ago, which went against everything I was taught (and later pounded in my head this weekend;thanks Calfo, I needed that!

Haven't had time to take pics, but I picked up some great AC mini-colonies from Max @ Mermaid. That was one bichen set up he dragged all the way up from Freemont, and those table acros were amazing!
I also got me some A/C retro kits and tempered glass lenses for my Luminarc Minis from PGS, a lunar dimmer moonlight from Fishbowl Innovations, and some MH bulbs and an Ice Cap ballast from Coral Reef Eco-Systems.
Sea Chem gave a free bag of salt to everyone coming through the door and DT's gave samples of Reef Blend away, but I missed out on the freebies there.
Lefty gave me a big kiss and tried to cop a feel, but that probably doesn't count!

I didn't get a free kiss and feel like Rich, but I got a clam from Max's, 2 raffle coral, the free SeaChem salt and free DT... No one mentioned the free "digital" thermometers at the checkin table! whoohoo

The DT "samples" aren't quite what we got, his "samples" where large bottles, I think the largest they come in and he had about 40 to give away. They were gone in half an hour I think.

I won a couple things in the raffel.. container of Rowaphos (wich I've been meaning to go out and get another), some epoxy, and one of the maricultered colonys..bule tips with the radioactive coralites (I have no idea where on my rockwork it can fit...so something is comeing out and going to the next MARS raffel)

wow, what is that coral in the 3rd post! i have never seen one. whats the care on one of those?
Loved this event!!! From the raffle I won a 150W DE 10K MH bulb which I was able to swap with Xia who won a 65W PC bulb. Also a $25 GC from Tropical Reef Oasis and selected a green polyped birdsnest frag. Bought two rocks covered in small pink zoos and managed to walk out with five blue green chromis from Max at Mermaid. Also T-shirts, salt, thermometer, algae scraper, and some type of soft cleaning pad, & other shwag... tons of time to chat with Bob, Walt, Anthony & others... Thanks again to the staff. Oustanding event.
