Got another cheap 8w blue light for my pico tank! It now has a nice cast of blue over the entire tank. iPad makes it much more blue than in reality.

Brought me a royal gramma, domino damsel,for the saltwater tank,,..red peacock for my cichlid tank...peller went out on my filter for the saltwater, got to buy me a new motor and impeller for A.C.110 ,, always something. ! I have a power head on with live rock in the mean time...

A dual Rapid Onyx set up with a Bluefish arrived today can't wait to set them up
Haven't done anything to my tank in nearly 2 months as I contemplated a breakdown. Decided to stick with it, so did the following:
60 gal wc
Changed carbon and gfo
Sold off my aurora pucks and swapped in a hybrid 2x250w MH/LED/t5 setup
Then added the following :
1 yellow tang
2 blue star leopard wrasses
Bluethroats trigger pair
1 blue sided fairy wrasse
1 potters angel
Then
1 more BTA
1 leather coral
Couple acan frags
Couple blastomussa frags
2 different birds nest mini colonies
60 gal wc
Changed carbon and gfo

Nothing for the main display tank, but for my (very) small QT, I got a bottle of Copepods to populate the living rock fragments I bought 2 weeks ago from the LFS.

Live rock and pod population bad idea for a qt tank.. EACH Time you are done qt fish you really need to clean and let the tank go dry for 3 days to a week..
Just my opinion....
If you qt fish and all is fine at end if qt period all good.. But what if you have ich on a fish in qt.. then when you treat that fish in the qt you will kill off the stuff you just paid for..
pieces of pvc pipe or live rock from your sump for qt. then bleach and let go dry before you use again.. is Best practice........
But i love pods.. Use that for a pod grow out tank and get another QT TANK..

I love our GRAMMA... It swims sidways
It lives inside a Bulkhead / pipe that i have at the bottom right corner of our tank. the pipe is there for Wave pump wires. I have wave pump next to 1 inch pipe then the wires go out thru bulkhead and above water line on outside of the tank..
anyway AWESOME FISH..
Today i Took more astrea out of Display and snails that are taking over.
