what did you guys did or buy for your tank today

I went on a adventure to a fish store I've never been to, bought a bunch of coral, and a pom pom crab. We named him OMI after the singer of the song Cheerleader. Just my luck they had just a few days prior received a huge shipment of coral and fish. Nice, clean store, pleasant people, great selection better and cheaper than the 3 other fish stores I've been to. I got Red montipora, Green Montipora, Green Hammer, Purple Tipped frogspawn, Yellow Bird's nests, some other Bird's Nest, Blue and Red Acropora, Blue Mushroom, some other mushroom, and Eagle Eye Zoanthids on a mussel.

Sunday is tank maintenance day...water change, clean glass (inside & outside), cleaned up supplies and cabinet, and cleaned InTank Media Basket. All boring I know but for some reason everything nice and clean gives me a good feeling. Can be a chore at times but a few hours on Sunday gives me a week of pure pleasure watching the tank grow.

This is the first week I've spent $0 on the tank in many many months.

It felt GREAT!!!!!!:bounce2:

I built an RO container/salt mixing stand with some scrap wood I had laying around and cleaned up the water station by mounting my filters on the wall and cleaning up the tubing.

Over the last week added
Hawaiian yellow tang
Lawnmower blenny
Watchman goby
Cherub angel
20 snails
10 hermits
Condy anemone
Brittle serpent star
Now to pick out the next batch and get them started in qt

Refractometer
Calibration fluid
two 530 power heads

I checked my tank water and it read as 1.030
I've been using a swing arm for ~2 1/2yrs.

The fluid is coming in the mail soon but I checked the Refractometer with RO/DI and it was at 1.000.

Went to the store to get some Mag and Calc suppliments.

These two little guys just jumped into bags and wanted to come home. Glad I had a QT already set up and running. :D Plus they were less than I could order on LA

They were kind of laying low due to the shock of moving/acclimating/etc, but as soon as the nighttime feeding came around, they ate like little piggies.

No, I don't think territory will be a problem, they only get about 1.5" long and have 6' of tank to stake out their area once they make it to the display. Second pic not so good, still in the bag.

Most important thing I ever bought was calibration fluid. I use 2 Refractometers, and both were .003 off.

Turned my 1.026 into 1.029.

Bought a Tunze nano ATO for my Fluval Spec V in preparation for my 2 week vacation I august. I had to create a new cover for the tank out of plexiglass which is difficult to cut out notches in. But it's installed and we shall see how well it works on this tiny tank.
