What disease is this?

And why is it only infecting my clownfish? After a couple of days of them being infected, my firefish is still doing fine. Here is my original post from the disease forum

I got these 2 tank raised clowns about a week ago and their showing signs of sickness. They are still eating but not swimming as actively, they just tend to hang out near this rock cave. The first couple of days they were acting normal until about 2 days ago. Their tank mate is a firefish that looks healthy. I've had it since the start of the in December.

I've noticed that the clowns scratch themselves on the sand and breath fast.

Looks like it could be Brooklynellosis. Different types of fish are more susceptable to this protozan, and that is the simple explanation. Those clownfish need to be treated soon otherwise it will be too late. There is alot of information regarding this disease and tx, so you need to do a search and research which approach will work best for you. Thank you for providing pictures.

So I got me Kordon Formalin-3 to treat them in a dip. How should I do a dip? The directions say 2 teaspoons per gallon. Do I use fresh or saltwater?

It says formaldehyde less than 3% on the bottle so I don't think I can follow the dosage on that link above which talks of pure formalin?

Whats your tank temp? Are there any swings?

You may do more harm than good to the fish by giving them a dip in the Kordon solution. It will be difficult to balance it enough to know the proper dosage for a dip. If I'm not mistaken the Kordon product has other chemicals than formalin. I would raise your tank temp to 80 (slowly), and make sure it stays stable. If water parameters are good they should kick it if they are still eating.
