What distinguishes Tubs Blue

What identifies Blue zoas as Tubs? What are the distinguishing characteristics?

That they came from Tubs. The other blue ones with brown skirts that look identical are cheaper, but didn't come from Tubs.

Ah so Tubs is a person. Other than lineage what distringuishes them? If you don't know origin.

I am looking at photos online and I cant tell if the skirts are brown or blue due to actinic.

True Tubbs blues are deep blue with a brown skirt.

Isn't tubs the owners dog, and decided to name these zoas tubs.

LoL, Idont know about the dog.I was just commenting on the color i.e-the skirt is brown not blue.

Nothing. Just dark blue zoas with brownish skirts. Welcome to the world of designer corals...

Not a big difference but I do think the Tubbs are a deeper blue then most.

Mine were a deeper blue till I put leds on the tank and bleached them almost white. They are in a cave now and coloring up again. They do not seem to like alot of light.
