it seems to be doing just fine but i just dont know what to do

I'm not sure what you may be concerned about - the frag of the Kenya tree coral, or the hair alage =)
If you're concerned about the hair algae try not to worry so much, as algae blooms are part of the natural cycling of the tank. But this is providing your tank was set up not too long ago. Just keep up with the water changes, and in due time the bloom will pass. Doing water changes and topping off with RO/DI water may also help.
If you're concerned about the Kenya tree coral, I wouldn't try to worry too too much. From my understanding it is a decently hardy coral. It never hurts to maintain the best water quality you can.
Hope this helps :)

the problem is that a hermit crab moved into the shell i got it on and he goes everywhere around the tank sorry for not being more specific

HEEHEE that is kinda cool. Short of hermit extraction or placing a bigger shell in front of him and hoping he moves, I don't know what you could do. Maybe just frag the kenya off the shell and place it somewhere else in the tank?

i have tons of shells and nothing but i think i will just let it go until i get tired of him moving all over mt tank but i might just end up fragging it off

Yeah, you can probably carefully frag off the kenya tree; or wait a little bit and see if the hermit crab switches shells itself. One of my red legged scarlets is lugging around two mushroom polyps on it's shell :)

It's ok.

But you do have a few algae problems: are you using ro/di water? that will help, given time---if you've been using tap, it takes a while to get the minerals reduced. Also try to use frozen food rather than flake...better yet, make those crabs/snails work for a living and don't feed unless you have something that has to have it.

If you have a window nearby, don't open the curtain.

Those trees do frag easily. Then you'll have two---one with the crab, one set where you want it.

Test for phosphate. Have you tried using a Phosphate remover? I use the PhosBan 150 and it works great! Also, carefully remove what you can by hand.

i have used phosphate remover filter pad it helps some but not alot im going to get a phosban remover soon then hopefully that will help out alot

Yeah, I used the pads directly in my water flow and it did not help that much. Once I got the PhosBan 150 things started turning around. It really works. There is debate on what type of media to use in the reactor. I use PhosGuard, not the granular type. Sorry, I think they call that OCF or something.
