my current fuge on my 38g is no longer linked to the 38g.i want to take the fuge down and get rid of everything in it,except my cheato.so what do i do with the cheato?will it be fine to put in the 38g overflow box?can i put into the fuge on my 90g to help seed the tank?i would like to keep this stuff to use in my new setup,so which path do i go?

Checinhawk,
I don't know about in the overflow box, I tied my chaeto down w/ fishing line to the external part of my overflow box, and since it has grown considerably. As long as it gets proper light and flow, I can't see it being a problem either way you go....

I tried the overflow box idea on my 65. The sound of water falling over the top of the tank when it plugged up the Durso told me that it wasn't a good idea after all.

Put it anywhere except a place that it could get sucked up a pipe.

I would say yes checkinhawk, I recently upgraded my fuge, added a sump, and 3 months later upgraded my 55 to a 75. Lots of changes, but as long as you have ample lighting, good water params, I can't see it doing anything but helping..

no.....i have something better for you.how bout some GSP,red and some blue shrooms, and two baby yumas.i need to get rid of this stuff so if you want it its free.

if you want i can bring it to you along with your drill bits.if you want to come here thats fine too.this weekend would be best for me.

Man that would be cool. Are you getting rid of all your Low flow corals? I think the flow in your 90 would blow the shrooms right off their rocks - LOL. I'll give you something for it - not sure what all I have are softies or LPS's.

no need to give me anything, the use of bits was more than enough.these are the few things i took out after adding the mod pump, and never got rid of them.they are all small pieces, the yumas are real small but once they get good light they will blow up nice.only thing im keeping from the fuge is one nice sized yuma(the mother of the babies)

That would be great, thank you very much. I'll definitely give them a good home. I'm working on the layout of my new sump/refuge for the 65g right now. Might have to start a new thread on it :D.

everything is good except the valve.it locks up a little at times.i ordered new magnets, these are 1/2"diameter X 1/8" thick.i am going to add 3 to each side of the magdrive.should solve the problem.

Are you alum LivingSeas?

I've found the little hang on back filters with a 6500K desk lamp work great for mini-fuges. Using one now with an AQ110 as a matter of fact.

ReefArtist - Let me know if that Yuma doesn't work out for ya :) lol
