What do you do to stimulate new growth?

Gives Bad Advice.
Lighting, nutrients, and parameters aside, do you guys do anything else to promote new growth in frags?

I was reading on garf.com that they were studying clipping ends and gluing them near the base of the parent frag. Supposedly, this stimulates what is called escape growth?

Thoughts? Do you do anything else?

Let's discuss it!

I'm a believer that fragging/clipping tips causes a growth spurt. More so fragging the top active growing third of the coral. Fragging towards the base didn't seem to have the same effect. It has to be a actively growing branch... Jmo

Nothing.

In a healthy tank frags will grow on their own.

Feed them. Have good lighting and flow. Obviously keep an eye on C.A.M.

Let nature take its course.
