What do you feed your BTA, and how often do you feed? I just got a BTA on friday and was amazed how fast my Maroon clown hosted it. I put the nem in the tank and within seconds my clown hosted it. My clown is already bring food to the nem when I feed, should I feed it aswell?

Maroons and BTA are natural symbionts, so it was just a matter of time before the clowns found it, and in your case, no time at all :)

In regards to feeding, I have always sparingly fed my anemones (twice a month if they're lucky) As your clowns are already feeding it, I wouldn't feel the need to at all. If you feel like it needs food, you could maybe give it a squirt of mysis every now and then...

What kind of light is this nem getting...lower light makes feeding more important...personally I feed mine one or two times a week...silversides, raw table shrimp, really just about any small piece of raw, meaty seafood is fine.

Its about mid level of the tank and geting eight 54watt t5s. I was thinking I would feed about 2 times a week, or is this to much

Good lighting it sounds like...that's nice...I know people have some success with BTA's under PC's and such, but it is soooo much easier to keep one under good lighting...I would think once a week is probably sufficient, but if you want to do twice, and it's takes the food, go for it.

I feed mine shrimp, and I feed them about every three days. If they aren't hungry, they just drop the shrimp and my clean up crew, cleaner shrimp or my Red Banded shrimp get the left overs.

i feed mine....whatever they happen to catch when i feed the clown.....they seem to be doing ok. i started with 1 green the rest are splits
