What do you feed your fish?

I usually fed them Frozen Mysis, green and red algae and jumbo krill shrimps. But recently started feeding them "ocean nutrition Formula one marine pellet. And they seem to really like it, however, my Dogface puffer loves it, but he seems much less active after eating, he lays between the rocks, which he has never done before, except at night...

If you need info on my stock list, view my webpage in my signature... Thanks in advance!

Ocean Nutritionis one of my favorite brands of food, great choice. I feed all of their formulas, flakes, pellets, and frozen. It's usually the first prepared food any of my fish will eat in quarantine.

As far as your puffer laying in the rocks after eating it, it is a pellet and will swell in water. If I overfeed pellets to my fish, they often sulk in their "beds" due to swelling pellets in their stomaches. Basically, he just ate too much.

I feed ON flakes and algae sheets, along with spectrum pellets, pe and hikari mysis (reg size and jumbo) along with ON marine angel formula for the pretty angels. All frozen food soaked with vitachem and garlic before feeding. Occasionally Ill feed freeze dried krill for the trigger and thats about it. So I didn't realize when i started feeding jumbo mysis but they're REALLY big and really solid so only feed if you have fish that can actually eat it.

Pellets:
New Life Spectrum Pellets (in automated feeder throughout day)

Frozen:
Formula Angel
Cyclopeeze (especially good for small fish)
PE Mysis
Rods Original Food (I have corals)
Grocery store mixture, blended and stored in ziploc bags in very thin sheets:
  shrimp
  scallops
  mussels/clams
  squid
white (ocean going, not freshwater) fish
Occasionally Formula One

Dry foods:
Nori seaweed
Spirulina Flake

I soak everything in Selcon and am a bit of a purist when it comes to adding items that would not be found in their natural environment (e.g. garlic, lettuce/broccoli, freshwater white fish).
