what do you feed your reef?

I was wondering what people feed their reef aquariums (excluding any additives)....I was thinking (once I get the reef setup) of feeding frozen brine/mysis shrimp in the morning....flakes at night....and DT's phytoplankton every other day......how does this sound? When feeding the frozen food, do you thaw it out in a cup, then dump it all into the tank at once? Do you target feed the frozen shrimp to any particular corals? What type of frozen/flake do you use? I saw formula one/reef prime in my LFS which both looked good for the tank. Do you just drop small pinches of flakes on the surface, then add more once the fish have consumed the first batch....or do you just dump a sufficient amount in the tank at once? How often do you add DT's phyto? Does this just get squirted into the tank? Thanks!

I wouldnt use the brine shrimp since it has no nutritional value, it is made up of 95% water.

I only feed my tank once every other day, when I do feed I use Marine cuisine. I will take a cup and fill it a quarter of the way up with tank water. I then let the one cube sit in there until it thaws. Then I dump portions in the tank. Within 3 minutes if there is stil food present I stop feeding.
I only dose Phyto plankton once a week. I add 2 teaspoons to my 90.

I only feed my brain coral, bubble coral, but I only do that 3 times a week with portions of freeze dried krill.

If you want to use brine shrimp, keep them in a small tank of home grown phytoplakton to get them fat and full of good stuff before you feed your tank.

Would vitamin enriched brine shrimp be a decent food to feed? More specifically Hikari Bio-Pure Brine Shrimp?

I feed once a day and use 1 cube of frozen mysis shrimp along with either Formula One or Prime Reef flake. Sometimes I'll also use Formula Two.

I place the frozen mysis cube in a cup with water from a water bubbler and let it melt. Once it is melted, I drain out as much water as I can without loosing too many shrimp. I then add a little more water and a couple pinches of flake food.

I feed in the same spot at about the same time every day. The fish seem to gather at that spot waiting to be fed. I add a little at a time so it all gets eaten. I think if you add it all at once, a lot sinks to the bottom and can cause an increase in nutrients.

I feed my fish mysid and formula 1 & 2 Cyclopseeze. Maybe a little Nori. My Foxface likes cheato and Naso eats sargassum that grows in the tank.

My SPS eat fish poop and light.
Anemones and plates get silversides and krill. Because its fun to watch them eat, not necessarily because its necessary.
Polyps and softies catch fish food.

cyclopseeze on a regular basis. I feed flake mysis and frozen forumula 2 and frozen vit. enriched brine. I feed daily or everyother day and alternate the diet. I also hang sea weed for the tangs a couple times a week. If you give them too much they get bound up in their belly
