What do you guys feed your rics?

I spot feed mine Mysis every now and then. They don't have a problem gobbling up a whole piece.

nothing.

Ive tried feeding them mysis and they grab it and eventually let go.
I just don't bother anymore. I rarely ever feed any of my corals.
I do feed my fish and they might get some flakes from that.

of everything i have to offer, mine eat mysis the best, brine shrimp (live adults included), reef plankton and cyclopeze.

i use a 80 watt pc light so i feel feeding is nessesary.

soon to upgrade to 4x 39 watt t5s and i dont think ill have to feed them ever but just because its fun i probly will feed them often.

for now i dont feed my fish but instead feed my lps, anemone, and rics and the fish eat anything that is missed or blown away.

its normal, i tried to feed mine about 102318219 times and they are slow to react. as long as u have decent to good lighting u dont need to feed.

I've had mucho success with a combination of DT's oyster eggs and cyclopeeze... they cast those mucous nets and rope the suckers in, it's awesome.

i turn off the water flow 1 or 2 times a week and hand feed chunks of krill, mysis, and brin to the smaller polyps... ive noticed the yumas hold on to the food a bit better then the floridas... dont know why though.
