I think you could use a little more rock for a better display. Cleaning the glass wouldn't hurt either.

Yes i did get that monti at salty critter, and I do get lazy with my glass cleaning sometimes

you might want to run a razor blade over it a few dozen times and take some new pics. It's a good start but not a very pretty one.

You are off to a nice start.
You would be surprised at how much better it could look if you gave the glass a scrape and put some backing on the tank, once you get on top of the corraline on the glass a quick clean once or twice a week should keep it algae free. A nice black background would make the colour of your fish and corals really pop aswell. Keep on top of tank maintenance in general, as SPS like good stable water parameters. Good luck with your SPS reef .

looks empty. You need more rock, and you need to get all the Coraline off of the glass so that the inhabitants can contrast themselves.

I like your frags. That blue/purple Milli looks nice. I also like the minimal amount of rockwork. When the frags grow out it will look awesome.

You might try scraping the glass. It has done wonders for my tank

Sometimes??? you serious?? LOL...umm i think you got totally lazy and just gave up. Not gonna lie but your tank doesn't look too good right now but i'm sure once you clean up the glass n what not it'll look good. Plus you got some nice corals and fish so why not show them off in a clean tank

glad i cleaned all the glass on my tank today....reeferchick is laying down the law...lol. i have to admit, she is right though. if you're going to take the time to take pics of your tank, take some time to clean it up first.

Some of the cruel comments here are a bit much. The tank could use a little work, but has potential, so here is some constructive criticism:

A. Disagree about more rock. I think it looks good and the aquascape will fill in once the corals grow. The rocks are a blank canvas, not the end result IMO. More rock in the sump might be beneficial though, as it will help with your water quality.

B. Scrape all sides clean. Once you've done it the first time, its a matter of a few minutes each time to keep up with it. Use a mag float with the EZ blade attachment to make your life much easier.

C. Lighting. It looks very yellow, what bulbs are you running? Some supplemental blue/actinic lighting could help IMO.

D. Frag racks. I say ditch them and attach the frags to the rocks. Also, I can't tell what it is on the right of the tank? Looks like a pole of some kind? At any rate, I would suggest removing that.

E. Powerhead placement. On the right you've got a mess of powerheads, I'd try moving them to the back wall and lower (since it looks like you are BB?), so they are more discrete.

It could look good with some cleaning and a little time. But my first thought after looking at the last pic was it looks like something out of a horror movie.
