what do you guys think (pics)

One thing that strikes me about this hobby is that the regular tanks have so much hardware to look at. I think I'm totally IN LOVE with the nano tanks because of the way they hide so much of that.

Otherwise, I love all the tanks I see on here. I'm curious, to the origional poster, do you have a plan for the bare space in front of the rock? That would make a wonderful place to start putting corals of all types.

great tank. Is that the return line on the top tight?

yeah thats the return line im going to get some loc line and redo my return though

its a condy and it hasnt moved since the second day i put it in there which was like 5 months ago...also the reason why you dont see an overflow is because i dont have one...i use a hang on back protien skimmer and hang on back refugium which eliminates the need for a sump although my next tank im planning on haveing a sump system!!sorry didnt mean to thread jack just didnt want to start a new one just to have people look at my tank...anyway your tank looks pretty good!!mine has been up for a little over a year like a year and 2 months i think...and i finally have all my alk calc and mag stable enough to start doing hard corals!!!

I think the tank looks great!

I have a question about rock placement, though. I've read several places that you should keep the rock off of the back wall so that water flow is better??

Is that true?

Nope, you place the rock anywhere you want to display. Keeping rocks off the wall mean easy cleaning acess the back wall, but I don't matter. You should use your imagination.

That's good to know!

I've rearranged my rock a few times now to get it off the back wall, but in the process I've taken up a lot of space in the front for the cool stuff. I guess I'll be playing the rearrange game again soon!

Jdmcivic, which side is the return pump on? Is the right of that photo. Btw, I see your into cars as well. So am I. Hehe. I have an ej6.

i dont have a return pump...it runs on gravity for a return...so there is a pump that pushes the water into the refugium and then the water enters back into the tank via a 1" pipe...and i have an ek9 btw :D
